POWERS TO ARREST AND APPROPRIATE USE OF FORCE TRAINING MANUAL

This course provides essential training on the Power to Arrest and the Appropriate Use of Force for security personnel in California. Participants will learn the legal responsibilities and limitations of security officers, citizen's arrest procedures, de-escalation techniques, effective communication, incident reporting, cultural competency, mental health awareness, active shooter response, and the lawful use of objectively reasonable force. The course emphasizes professionalism, public safety, ethical decision-making, and compliance with California BSIS training requirements.
